Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences released the "Intelligent Mobile Traction Dryer" in Shandong
Xinhua News Agency, Jinan, June 4 (Reporter Ye Jing) On the 3rd, the Institute of Agricultural Product Processing of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences held a "Mobile Traction Dryer" release event in Pingyin County, Jinan City, Shandong Province and Dongping County, Tai'an City.
Farmers' proverb says: "Quickly harvest and thresh to avoid waste." In order to cope with extreme weather and improve disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities, the Institute of Agricultural Product Processing of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Nanjing Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Shandong Unoco Agricultural Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. created the "Intelligent Mobile Traction Dryer".
Xing Fuguo, a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Agricultural Product Processing of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, said that during installation, the "Mobile Traction Dryer" has the advantages of not occupying construction land indicators, not requiring hardened ground, flexible operation, and reducing grain transportation costs.
In actual use, the wind force of this technology can reach 45,000 cubic meters per hour, and it can be heated and air-dried, similar to natural drying, reducing the breakage rate and crack rate, and can better ensure the quality of grain. It can not only meet the grain drying needs of small and medium-sized farmers, but also meet the drying needs of large grain storage enterprises, local grain processing enterprises, large family farms and rural collective cooperatives.
"Compared with traditional grain drying and storage technology, the use of intelligent 'mobile traction dryer' can reduce the loss rate of grain drying and storage to no more than 2%. If it is promoted nationwide, it can reduce grain loss by more than 10 billion catties each year." Xing Fuguo said.
Next, the relevant research team of the Institute of Agricultural Product Processing of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences will continue to optimize and improve related technologies. For example, they will improve the manufacturing process, reduce the noise generated during operation, extend the service life, reduce the drying cost, and reduce the maintenance and repair costs; explore new fuels that are low in price, high in thermal efficiency, and less polluting to the environment; optimize the automatic control system to further reduce labor costs while ensuring the quality of grain drying; develop and improve the information service platform for drying and storage equipment facilities to provide support for emergency dispatch in disaster prevention and mitigation.
